“ Great food, I had the pozole, and it's one of the best I've ever had! The service was fantastic, and the attention to detail was nice. Very chill place. I highly recommend it. I will need to come back for the sweet bread. I also owe a better tip because I didn't know that I couldn't tip with my card, and I only had two dollars in cash. That will be my only complaint, for them to have a better POS system that allows the customer to tip with their card, besides that, everything was great! ”
“ Didn't think much of this place in passing thought it was just selling breads but we actually went in to see what they had and they had hot food out on the line and it didn't look dry or old like most places hot food so we decided to try the Birria and the mole and we were both super happy we decided to walk in the food was really authentic and fresh tasting with a lot of flavor, we will definitely be back! ”

They serve generous servings and their plates average $7 for a main entree and a side of rice and beans or you can sub for salad (which I personally prefer). It's definitely a hole in the wall-- unassuming and low key as anything, and you really wouldn't have guessed that it served amazing Mexican fare at crazy cheap prices from the looks of it. The first time I came here, another patron asked if I had been before, and when I said no, he told me everything was delicious. True enough, I got three al pastor tacos and it was amazing. It was a little greasy and on the salty side, but super flavorful and easily some of the best al pastor I have had in a while. Each taco is massive but it's only $2, and burritos are only $6. Even though Mexican food is generally affordable, I haven't seen such good prices for such a generous portion serving. Even though the "panaderia" part of this place is marketed more heavily (I mean, it's in the name), they actually do a lot better on the savory front. Most of the patrons I have seen there get the savory food, not the pastries. ”
“ Amazing hole in the wall Mexican food place! I used to pass by Panaderia Guerrero every day but I was a little scared of going in there because well I have no Mexican food cred! Basically like how non-Chinese-speaking folk can be really intimidated by hole in the wall Chinese food places in the 626! I finally ventured over here with my boyfriend and we ordered: * Torta: The torta tastes exactly like how his mom makes (so authentic!) *3 tacos: MASSIVE! They're like 2.5x the size of El Taurino's tacos and basically the same price. I didn't really like how saucy the pastor was but I was all about the chicken & carnitas! I also ordered a couple of pastries because well..it is a bakery after all. Didn't love these - didn't taste fresh. They had a bread that looks like Chinese pineapple buns but ours is way better - heh. But ALL that was under $15, such a great deal. You're not going to get more authentic than this! ”
“ This is one of those hole in the wall places that unless you have some paisa or local friend (someone like me for example), then you wouldn't know about this gem. Their tortas are fish fillet (huge), milanesa, pollo and you can even request from whatever precooked stuff they have which may invlude tinga or carne desebrada. $5 and well worth it not to mention ask for everything on it (includes avocado). As for their other meals, it's $7 and includes beans, rice, avocado and a small salad plus warm tortillas (5-6 of them). What more could you ask for? How about no tax... As for rhe bread, that's not their forte in my opinion but then again I'm not all too devoted on checking out their assortment. After a torta, I'm good... This was an honest review on exchange for nothing! I just love their food and so does my 5yr old:) ”
“ Back in 2009 I went to get a money order next door one day, and my girl at the time was complaining about being hungry and ran in to get a taco. Once I stepped in and saw the mole, chilaquiles, and costillas en salsa roja, I knew i had to try some. I got a combo plate of mole and chilaquiles with rice & beans. It came with queso cotija, avocado and crema. It was the bomb and so full of flavor. The best part is each combo is only 5$....shhhhhhhh dont blow up the spot and make the prices go up or have them make some vegan, gluten free, veggie bullshit. Just let them do what they do and continue to do, what they do. ”
